Dan Rowell — Director & Brand Strategist
Dan started DSR Branding in 2015 so that he could focus on his true passion, working closely with company founders to clearly articulate their business vision and then translate that into a brand that makes a big impact on their industry.
With over a decade of experience in the advertising and marketing industry, Dan has worked across household brands including national retailers, iconic restaurants, fashion labels, and beloved sporting teams.
Dan is obsessed with the effect that extraordinary branding can have on a business. Good branding can be the difference between success or failure, because while quality of output is necessary it isn’t always necessarily enough. It can help business owners rearticulate the reason they first started their business. It can re-energise and revitalise businesses so that their staff and customers become willing brand advocates. It all starts with loving your work. Finding the human truth that drives the core of a workplace and communicating it well remains singularly rewarding and successful.

When Dan’s not transforming brands you’ll find him with his wife Dee, discovering new cafes around Newstead, doing CrossFit or playing golf. Originally from New Zealand, but don’t hold that against him, Dan is a sports nut and always keen to discuss rugby, cricket and basketball.
Oriane Rigard-Cerison — Designer
Oriane is a multidisciplinary French designer who has extensive experience in the industry.
With a Bachelor degree in Communications and Marketing and a previous role as the Marketing Design Lead for an Australian leading ecommerce platform, Oriane has a clear understanding of business needs and business strategies. With a background in Communications and Marketing, Oriane has a clear understanding of business needs and business strategies. She worked as the Marketing Design Lead for an Australian leading ecommerce platform.
She has developed her design expertise working for agencies but also for in-house roles and for her own regular clients. She has worked with a broad clientele such as music school, construction company, doctors, tech companies and musicians.
Experimenting with different media through her career, Oriane’s skill set expands to branding, advertising, video filming and editing, web and editorial design, illustration and more. She now has a specific interest in bringing brands to life, thinking of the best.
When she’s not working she’s either sipping wine eating a delicious meal with friends, drawing lettering art, watching a jazz gig, doing some yoga or swing dancing. She will also tell you where to find the best cheese or best croissant in town (she’s French after all!).
Reuben Mergard — Designer
Reuben is an award winning cross disciplinary designer. He enjoys working with his hands wherever he can.
For a designer, the computer is a powerful tool, but it’s not the only one. By changing up the tools, Reuben explores different angles in which to tackle design problems.
This almost always means sketching, planning and writing with pen on paper before, but also includes cutting, folding, carving, moulding, building and creating things in a workshop.
Outside of work, you’ll find him out in the wilderness exploring Brisbane’s forests, camping, hiking and reading, all the while looking for fresh perspectives to bring back to the team.
