Background

Logo Line has been one of Australasia’s largest wholesale promotional merchandise suppliers for over 30 years. Founded in a Queensland garage in 1995 and now operating under one roof in Brendale with a team of nearly 200, they supply distributors across Australia and New Zealand with one of the widest ranges in the industry, backed by full in-house decoration.

Having refreshed the core Logo Line brand in 2025, DSR Branding was re-engaged to help launch something new: a premium range of tech products. Logo Line needed a complete sub-brand, name, strategy, identity, and packaging system, to bring the range to market.

Challenge

Logo Line’s reputation is built on making promo easy, reliable, and great value. But this new tech range needed to feel different, premium, cutting-edge, and innovative, without losing the trust of the Logo Line name behind it. The brief was to create a bold, premium-feeling tech sub-brand that could sit confidently alongside the likes of Sony, Sonos, and Bose, while appealing to a younger audience seeking high-quality tech at an accessible price. It had to read as a genuine tech brand in its own right, yet remain unmistakably part of the Logo Line family.

Solution

It started with the name. We landed on NOMIS — Simon, the name of Logo Line’s Director, reversed. On the surface it’s clean, contemporary, and vowel-led, sitting comfortably alongside modern tech names like Sony, Sonos, and Nio. Beneath it sits a personal story: a subtle nod to Simon’s passion for technology. Distinctive yet familiar, premium yet meaningful, and it gives the brand a story to tell.

The identity matches the name’s ambition. A custom wordmark with smooth, rounded, monoline letterforms reads as confidently high-tech, while a standalone ‘N’ monogram gives the brand a flexible mark for products, packaging, and digital. The system is built around a disciplined monochrome palette, deep blacks and crisp whites, that signals precision and premium quality, exactly the language the category’s leading players speak.

We extended the brand into a complete packaging design system designed to hold its own on shelf and out of the box, from speakers and headphones to the wider accessories range. Every touchpoint, from product to packaging to digital, was crafted to turn cutting-edge tech into a standout brand experience.

The world loves an Underdog story, so do we.
