Ten Sixty Four (1064) Gold is a gold exploration company, named after the melting point of gold — 1064 degrees Celsius. We were engaged to refresh their brand identity and website to attract investors in a Pre-IPO capital raise. Their brief was simple – “We’re proud Queenslanders in an area (Clermont), that is rich in the history of Queensland’s gold fields. Let’s acknowledge and celebrate the town we call home.”
The brand positioning was built around “Bright Prospects” and tagline, “Pioneering Queensland” are in reference to their experienced team of geologists and aspirations to find significant gold deposits. The colour palette was simple, Queensland’s maroon and gold.
We introduced a brand mascot, the bull to represent their bullish confidence “putting the bull in gold bullion”. A suitable choice given their proximity to Rockhampton, Australia’s beef capital. The X64 icon represents their future ASX ticker as well as ‘X marks the spot’.
